Avoid. Their prices on used records are just delusional. Stuff that is dollar-bin worthy at other stores is marked up way high. While James Taylor is a favorite of mine, Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon with a water-stained cover is not worth $15! They will rip you off on trade-ins too. Plenty of other, better stores in the Triangle area.

The selections gone WAY downhill since it stopped being CD Alley. Also, I brought about 15 records in to sell a while back, all in great condition. I figured, on the low end, I could get $60-80 for them, but the guy said he could only do $25. In hindsight, I shouldn't have sold them for so little, but I was hard-up for the cash. The next time I went in, I saw several of the records I sold with price tags around $20-25 a piece. I have no qualms about never shopping here again. And if you plan to sell some records, just be warned. They'll lowball you like you wouldn't believe

Plan an afternoon to browse. Very large selection of oldies and new releases. The $5 mystery bag was a fun purchase.

What Ms. Cleaveland said. Bring them to the cashier, he'll look them up, and you can pick cash or store credit.
