Service was a bit slower than expected, but it was relatively crowded. Appetizer was interesting with good flavor but a bit sweet for me. Schnitzels and spatzle were very bland but had a good texture. The ambiance was nice and staff was friendly.

I was taken out, by my family, for a birthday dinner celebration. We listened to live music from a special Octoberfest celebration. The musicians interacted with the patrons. It was definitely a good time. The staff was very helpful with information about the available food faire and drinks. The portions were eye appealing and hearty. Our waitress was attentive , accommodating and pleasant. A good time was had by all!

I’ve been going here for decades. I wish this place was how it used to be, with the owners from the 90s. But now the experience is just underwhelming. The weinerschnitzel is so much smaller than it used to be (for a higher price) and while I know they got rid of their famous potatoes years ago, I’m still shocked they made such a terrible decision. Since this place changed hands (after their brief closing many years ago) it just isn’t what it once was. A shame.

It was the first bar to get their liquor license after prohibition. They even have the original speak easy inside.
Carolann is correct! We have highchairs and a children's menu. Bring the whole family!
We parked in the public parking 2 blocks away. I dont think there was open spots in front
We were there last week, and it was not open for dining in. Not sure about carry out.
We went there once, The downstairs was closed and we ate up in the main dining Room. Very good restaurant though.
Good Morning Patt, We are closed on Sundays and major holidays. Our hours are from 11-9 PM Mon-Fri and 11:30-9 PM on Sat. Hope to see you soon!
There is no formal dress code although you probably need to adhere to the local norms shoes pants/shorts shirt. They might throw you out if you come in naked.
Just ate there tonight. It was awesome!
Went in tonight (Wednesday) as a walk-in. No wait at 730. A bunch of open tables
Try calling them or going into the restaurant. Hard to know if the right person will see this.
Yes
Opened originally in 1898 and reopened in 2006 after a brief shutdown that started in Dec 2005.
There are pulic parking garage's in the area. The restaurant does not have parking.
If you park in one of the close by parking garages, be sure to get your ticket validated. Saves a ton of money.
