Was there this past weekend, (7/30/20 - 8/2/20) and it was nothing short of beautiful. Great, quiet, little spot on a hilltop surrounded by mountains and pastures. Very friendly people, and close to Lake Watauga. Can't beat the price! When I go back to this area of TN again, definitely going to check availability.

Mr. Keene your story is interesting. You arrived in the campground at 2:00 am with a car and started your music and party noise which woke everyone up. Where you got the idea it was free who knows! Yes you was asked to leave but wanted us to think your car was an RV and wanted to argue the whole time while your companion who ever she was got her stuff and got in the car to go. As a gun being involved that is a good imagination. All of the others that were in the park witnessed the whole incident. I hope you will make reservations and get an RV the next time.
