We sat there for 15 mins without a single word to us from any waitstaff. There were three other tables there and two already had their food. The place was not busy. However while we were there we got to listen to the chef throw a temper tantrum, screaming at the waitress and at nobody because he messed up an order so it was sent back. Rather than get started on remaking the meal, he took the strawberries off the pancakes with his hand, threw it on the floor, grabbed a glob of butter - again, bear handed - and splattered it on the food, wall, and floor, then told the waitress to send it out. When she refused, he threw the plate on the floor and marched into the back screaming curses at the top of his lungs in a restaurant full of children 8 and under.

Let me start off by saying that they were extremely busy when we got there and they only got more busy after we sat down. The staff all handled everything very well even though they were swamped. The food was hot and good. Our meals were delivered to us in a timely fashion and we had a very attentive server. We don't go there very often but we will be back when the opportunity arises.

In an area where there are relatively few options, we were very happy to find this restaurant. One of us got lunch and one breakfast. Both meals were very nicely prepared. The service by Teresa, supported by Mandy, was excellent. If going through this area, we highly recommend stopping in!

The food was decent. Your typical greasy spoon with breakfast and dinner options. Their waffles are their claim to local fame and had a beautifully crispy exterior. A nice pure syrup or local jam would've been a great addition. The biscuits were tough to cut through but the gravy was good. The bacon and hashbrowns were spot on and just what I wanted. The eggs were cooked a perfect over medium. My mom literally used a few napkins to sop up the pool of grease pooling under her Philly cheesesteak omlete. Very busy Sunday morning. The staff seemed a bit stressed and their wait management left a lot to be desired. Sometimes there's quite the line but you just grab tables as they open up. Having a staff member dedicated to keeping a list would've been nicer for everyone. Overall, a fine breakfast for a weekend jaunt but nothing worth making a special trip for.
