Made an emergency landing enroute to Atlanta in January 2021. The folks at the maintenance facility were super, essentially adopting me for the day as they tried to find a replacement for the exhaust tube that broke from the flange. JB, who runs the maintenance facility, explored multiple options and finally found a welder willing to come in on a Saturday and tig weld the stainless steel tubing. Did a great job on the repair at a reasonable price. I was on my way later that same day. Super nice and competent crew. Thanks, JB.

Yes there is a fly in at the Air Port.

I'm going to be moving to the area later this month. I have a private pilot license. I would like to potentially get back into flying. I'd like to explore sport or recreational pilot. Is flight instruction available at this airport?

Yes they have some really good instructors reasonably priced taking flying lessons myself
