I am a single mama. “Chris” said don’t play the single mama card, but it’s the truth, so I play the card. My mama purchased me a v dub. Esthetically a beautiful, clean Volkswagen with 74k miles on it. All wheel drive. Perfect for a single mother, going through divorce, looking for a fresh start? Right? My 60+ year old parents went to cj auto on my struggling behalf. Covid shut downs, divorce, single mama life had me down. My mother found me this car. Chris at CJ auto sales took advantage of my old parents and I. The transmission is shot, the windows no longer roll down, there’s no coolant in the tank, I understand my parents bought “as is” but buyer beware. They were taken advantage of. They thought they were helping me and now we’re in more debt than ever. Worst of all, Chris, he won’t hear you speak. He’s so full of himself that the moment you try and express yourself he immediately talks over you and does not let you speak a word. Chris Is a snake. If you buy from this lot please talk to Ed: he is kind.

I was hoping to get around 3,000 miles on the $6,000 truck I purchased here before having a major repair. $2,500 in so far in repairs and diagnosis and $10,000 more to go with less than 800 miles on the odometer since I bought it in mid-March. I found out after only 288 miles that it had a bad engine that is ticking time bomb (and verified by a 2nd shop) and that's after paying to have the brake system completely rebuilt and the rear end cleaned up and resealed. I grew up the son of both parents being in sales, including car sales and I failed to heed lesson No. 1: only buy an used vehicle from a reputable new vehicle dealer in California And know full well No. 2: the dealer knows about 90% of the problems of the vehicle they are selling, regardless of whatever they tell you on the test drive. Then afterwards when the repair bills start piling up and they point to the very legal "as is" sales contract you signed, saying that somehow in the total miles you put on the vehicle since purchase, compared to the total miles on the odometer (0.15%), you caused the condition somehow. My advice: Heed lesson No. 1. Less headaches that way.
