Erick did a fabulous job. It was a quick turnaround time and the fix was what I expected it to be for a price that I also expected it to be. I'm not a watchmaker but I know enough about watches and I can do some small repairs that I understood the possible problem but just don't have the tools and intimate knowledge how to fix them. I got the watch back today and it functions as it should and I will monitor it over the next few days to double check. Having said that, I don't have any concerns about the repair right now. It's not a criticism but my only concern was that I sent the watch in a hard case with the watch wrapped in saran wrap and then inside of a Postal Service flat rate small box. The watch was sent back inside the hard case but it was not in saran wrap and he used the original box that was held together with scotch tape. Why does it matter if it was not wrapped in saran wrap? The vibrations from shipping can put small scratches on the crystal or on the case. It did not happen in this incident but as a professional I was hoping for that extra step but it is not a dealbreaker. My biggest concern was that he put that hard case back inside the original Postal Service flat rate small box that I sent it to him in and only secured it with tracking label sticker and some scotch tape. By the time it got to me I was in rough shape. overall I'm extremely pleased with the work provided so far but I think a few minutes of extra attention would have sealed the deal. Will I do business with Erick again? Absolutely! at the end of the day I just want my watch fixed but Tony customer service touches go along way.
