I went to New Orleans City Hall to update my address as I recently moved. There was a security check upon entrance. I found the voter registration office with the help of some friendly city employees. The update of my address went pleasantly quickly. A great experience.

No, ma'am. The city will not provide service on private and occupied property or give chemicals to residents. Issues with blighted property should be reported to 311.
Try Record of Mortgages with the necessary documents to make that change.
There are regular updates available at roadwork.nola.gov. At the top, there is a special tab for the Bourbon Street construction project.

Department of Public Works. To report on that is out, call 311. The ones along the interstate are maintained by DOTD.
Hi Karen, please contact the Office of Vital Records for assistance with your birth certificate. They are located on Poydras Street, not far from City Hall.
Be ready for a long wait. Before going to City Hall. be sure to have all your paperwork in order. If not you will be going back and forward in vain to get exactly what you need. I would suggest that you call first and see exactly what you need to bring with you. Been there with a friend what that problem, wasn't nice. We went there approximately 8 times before he was able set complete everything. Good luck, and be patient.

There's not a general number...it depends on the department you're trying to contact. If you visit nola.gov you can find departmental phone numbers.
Trailers used here belonged to FEMA. This is a question best posed to your federal representatives.
