Visited last year during COVID-19 limited time, but was really too short a visit, really enjoyed, learned a lot about the culture on display at time.

The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and put together a great presentation for my freshman English class.

Questions & Answers

There are two parking lots on the 500 block of Chartres, which are the closest. There is also street parking in the French Quarter.

So where is the actual theatre in the movie?

Eli Navarre | Sep 20, 2019

I believe the interior was the Joy on Canal Street.

Hi, Just wondering how tall the largest theatre is in this building. As i heard, the movie now you see me was shot here.

Bianca T | Sep 20, 2019
Eli Navarre | Sep 20, 2019

The front facade of the Williams Research Center was used as the theatre in the movie. The interior theatre shots were done elsewhere. The building at 410 Chartres Street is not an actual theatre.
