Nice ambiance (despite sitting outside - our choice - in 105 degree Temps) , nice service. Food quality less than what I expected ... Crab cakes were small & had a slight fishy smell, risotto was extraordinarily plain & tasteless (we sent it back), bread was no better than plain white bread. Steak was wonderful, rigatoni very good. Best item was the caprese ... 9.5 stars for that.

Took my wife for our 10 year anniversary. Fantastic ambience, food and service. The crab cakes, linguini pesto scampi and the steak were all excellent. While it's a bit pricier than your Cafe Bernardo type experience, it's a significant step up - the value is 100% there.

First time here, but we've wanted to get here for the past month when they added a new chef on staff. The new chef had brought new dessert items to the menu, and They alone are beyond 5 stars!!! I can't wait to try more entrées! The patio is a great feature, and it didn't appear that hot with misters, even in 100° heat (although we did eat inside). All of the staff were friendly and professional. Oh, the owner is the son of famed 1950's teen idol Fabian. It's worthy of driving to if nearby. Thankfully for us, we only live 20 minutes away. Some entrées come in half or full size orders. Half appears small, but is actually the perfect size for those who don't want to overeat. Then you'll have room for dessert, which is a must.

Of course you are asking the Google community rather than Fabian's. You might want to check their website for hours..and while you are there, you might want to check their reservations app/page to reserve the time and date, or check what is still available.
If you want Mexican in Fair Oaks try Carmelitas or Wild Rooster. Both are in the Old Village.
