We booked our reservation months in advanced for a bachelorette party drag brunch. Our experience was ruined by our server. As someone that also has been in hospitality for the past 18 years, I’ve truly never experienced anything like this. She was truly the rudest server I’ve ever had. I would provide her name, except she wouldn’t tell us… Got all of our orders wrong or items forgotten, reprimanded members of our table for ordering more drinks (trying to spend money) because she asked for all drinks to be ordered first - but sometimes you need a refill?, had starters coming out after main courses and when it was pointed out was met with the response “well too bad, you’ll eat it now”. She poured a drink on my lap, accidents happen but didn’t even offer an apology, walked away and shrugged. We received our mains when the drag show was over despite ordering before, she billed us at the same time leaving no option to order more drinks and spend more money… New Orleans is known for its kind people and amazing hospitality - this experience was like no other. On the plus side, the support staff were amazing! The server Jamie that came to help rescue the experience was incredible! The hostess was absolutely amazing and cared so much. The drag is fun - older queens. Only 3 in rotation. It’s a very broken up space therefore you don’t get to watch the full show but they make their rounds! Decent tourist attraction, certainly would have been better with Jamie as our server!
