Jamestown Housing Authority breaks contracts. When their client abandoned my property, leaving it filthy, full of belongings, and unsecure, I suffered the cost of lost rent, clean up costs, and dump fees. Mary, at Jamestown Housing Authority had this to say, "The client moved out a long time ago, we're not paying if he's not there." She said JHA will not even pay for the current month or any of the other costs incurred by their client. So the trusty local government exited the contract unilaterally on the day they found out the client abandoned the property. So while JHA demands landlords sign a contract with them, JHA will not abide by the contract. If their client flakes out, JHA flakes out with them. Because of JHA, I now refuse all clients from any 3rd party agency.
