Nice, quiet beach at the north end of class Beach. Very gradual slope into the ocean means small waves most of the time. A small creek (Little River) cuts the beach off so that little kids are corralled in a nice area. There are some small caves at the north end of the beach into the cliff. Nice shelter from the wind that frequently his the southern part (Clam Beach).

This place is awesome for families with kids because they can play in the river without worry of the waves. However, the waves are close if you want that too, exploration, caves, shells, sand dollars, rocks, sand, ravens, crows, sea gulls, there is so much here.

Moonstone beach is a local classic. The sand is soft and great to walk in barefoot. The water is shallow and you can play around in it without much worry as long as you can handle the cold. The estuary also creates really cool interactions between the tides, waves, and the river itself. 10/10 recommend coming here.

Beautiful, contrasting natural colors good for babies, kids, adults and elderly. Great mini river that comes through and it was joyful to see dogs &kids swimming in a safe zone away from the main body of water. Lovely sight seeing. Perfect getaway, good for weddings, not good for a sit down picnic on sand because it is very wet and has frequent high tides.

Not reserved but for a public ceremony yeah I'm sure it can be done
There are a few tight turns, steep grade, and it's a narrow road. The lots are kinda big but getting there would be tough. I would park on top next to the freeway entrance and walk.
No overnight camping in parking lot or beach. South is clam breach that has camping.
You park right at the edge of the beach an you can walk right to the water not sure if you have a wheelchair
Your at moonstone, go back up the street turn left (north) go about 1 mile down the road. It will be narrow and bumpy so be prepared. You will find a line of parking spots in front of a grassy area with a porta potty. The parking fence that separates the parking from the grass will be made of old anchor chains. Follow the trail towards the ocean and there's your stairs down to the beach. Hope this helps.
