I don’t know why people are badmouthing this office. Just came out with a very good impression of the staff and office. My social security officer was kind,courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend this place just bring all of your required documents.

Very disappointed. Google maps got me lost several times. Sent me up a one way street the wrong way. I'm hesitate to use this again.

They are supposed to send you(her) a letter indicating any change that will be made, if any, to her payments or benefits.

That is a very good question but I would not call them you'd stay on the phone for hours, there's an office on main Street by the corner of mohawk open up till 4:00 usually Monday through Friday I don't think Saturday and Sunday, and it's never too busy just afternoon would be the best time to go and ask first they might be able to get it done.

exchange street no longer exists. it’s on Main street by the train. and you can go in and get a number on a ticket and wait to be called

I do not personally work for Social Security but I am a college student and deal with SS. Tell her to go back and check what she put in because she may have input her numbers wrong. If she needs further assistance she can call FAFSA and ask them what may be the issue. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
If you already on Medicare you have part a already if you are not sure call the number that is on the card and t they will tell you if you don't have the number I can give you it
You have to call the local office phone number & speak to someone. I have had no luck in getting through over the past month. If you cannot get through, you will have to go to the office at 186 Exchange St to make an appointment for a future date.
