Questions & Answers

Went there to refill my tank and was told that the 20lb tanks expires after 10 years and I had only one month left before they wouldn't refill my tank. The tank says that they expire in 12 years printed right on the propane tank. Who is correct?

The law changed, left up to town and establishment., Some places still honor 12 years, but most have gone to the 10 year rule. I do not know of any places near us that still honor 12 year. Sorry I wasn't much help. Good Luck. PS- I ran into the same problem and it missed by 3 months. Bummer.
