If you get your birth certificate from the state office (410 Capital Ave, Hartford Connecticut), $30/copy. If you get it from the town you were born in, $20/copy As of 2022 summer

The State Vital Statistics in Hartford is closed until further notice. But you can go online and get it in the mail.
There is visitor parking behind the building if you come early.

The hours at 410 Capitol - Vital Records are 8:15-3:45. Birth certificates are $30. Cash, money order, debit or credit. If you go to the town hall where the child was born, the fee is $20. Not sure what type of payment they accept besides cash.
