Everyday low price... IF they can find the key! I met the manager when I walked in and asked about exchanging a propane tank. He seemed almost irritated that I didn't already know that I'm supposed to leave my empty propane tank outside, and directed me to the customer service desk to get a someone to do the exchange for me. I walked up to customer service and no one was there so I waited a few minutes before approaching the self-checkout attendant. I asked "how do I go about exchanging my empty propane tank for a full one?" To which he told me to get into the checkout line and let the cashier know I needed an exchange. After waiting in line, the cashier tells me "he (the guy who told me to wait in line) just asked me where the key is for the propane so he is looking for it".. to which the cashier then signs out of the register and runs off to look for the key. The bagger, self-checkout, and cashier are all running around like wild people with no clue what they were doing. At one point the cashier asked the janitor if he knew where the keys were, and finally the rude Manager from the entrance rejoins the group to offer absolutely NO SOLUTION. They just say sorry and i walk away empty handed and with 20 minutes less in my life for it. I walk across the parking lot to a rite aid and purchase a propane tank from the for 5 dollars more but at a fraction of the time taken.. I hate that this is the closest safeway to me...

The staff they have are great. They're suffering from shortages in staffing and selection like most places. Still my go to market.

I did my shopping very late at night more towards the wee hours of the morning and it was a much more enjoyable visit to the grocery store. Every thing was stocked, the store was practically empty. I did not have to wait in line for a checker to check me out. It was fabulous. I will definitely be changing my shopping routine to doing my grocery shopping late at night. Thank you Safeway staff!

Common theme, shelves are very sparse. I’ve been looking for small bottles of Gatorade every week for the last, at least 2 months. There’s a sticker on the shelf that yesterday had bottled water in that space instead. All other sizes seemed fully stocked.
