Was heading home from a summer day at the quarry back to southern Michigan & decided to stop here for a meal. It was definitely some home cooking that you’ll love and more! My girlfriend and me will definitely be back :]

Small place, but they had great food, really good service, and nice quiet atmosphere. There were only two people working that day when we were there, but service didn't suffer. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Recommended!

I have heard about how good Granny's Kitchen is on many occasions, so I figured I'd go find out for myself. We went with friends who had made the recommendation. Now if you are looking for an upscale dining experience then go somewhere else, Granny's isn't it, however you will find a small, simple country style restaurant with a simple homestyle menu with really friendly service and friendlier prices. AND the mashed potatoes were real. Some sides are served in a separate styrofoam container, but many other places do also to manage costs. Granny's Kitchen doesn't look like much from within or without, but should you decide to go, do so and go early. Seating is limited and the waiting line can get quite long, like quitting time at the time clock. Aside from dine-in Granny's also offers takeout service (no deliveries). Finally, Granny's storeside parking area is quite small, but there is a large overflow lot behind the building. I read a review that compared Granny's food as trucker's or construction worker's food with negative overtones, but I personally have found that if you want good food...follow the trucks and dozers. Give Granny's Kitchen a try in Woodville, OH and draw your own conclusions. You may be surprised.
