We had a wonderful weekend at Sauder Campground with friends! The lots in the new section are very large; my kids loved playing in the large grassy area behind our lot. The trails around Little Lake Erie were very nicely manicured, and everything (including the bathrooms and shower house) was clean! Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My kids loved having access to the indoor pool at Sauder Village Inn from 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 7pm. They went twice. They also loved playing tetherball at the campground, and they thoroughly enjoyed our day at Sauder Village. Highly recommend picking up doughnuts and cinnamon rolls at the Doughbox Bakery. And we also enjoyed picking up pizza, salads, and bread sticks from Mom's Diner in Archbold and taking it to a local park. Definitely recommend! We had a great weekend!

Clean, very well-maintained and family friendly. My one gripe would be how small and exposed many of the sites feel: would appreciate a bit more privacy from one's neighbors! But overall lovely

We stayed here October 2021, this being our second stay, first was Oct. 2019. The campground is very well maintained. Our full hook up site had a gravel driveway. The area has a tendency to stay wet after the rain; the grassy area behind our site was still soggy although it had not rained for a couple days. The trains go through the area through out the night. This became increasingly noticeable each nite. My opinion is, if you are coming to Sauder Village to go through the Historic Village and plan to use the additional hotel amenities this is definitely a great place (we did all this during our first trip). If you are looking for the camping experience a nearby State Park (Harrison Lake) could be more to your liking.

It was 80.00 for two nights. Also lets you use the indoor pool at the inn. Very nice facility and very clean bathrooms.
Yes they do! Rates vary notify them for more accurate rates
Janice - Good morning. If you're referring to the tree inside our Heritage Inn, we do not allow that. There are no rules regarding hanging on trees outside at the Campground. Regarding vehicles on campsites - Three is the maximum per site, depending on the vehicle type, then less. We apologize if your neighbor's unit was on your site. Sometimes friends and family are located beside each other, and tend to go either direction. We would be happy to address the issue if we are made aware of the situation at the time. Please feel free to contact the Heritage Inn front desk at any time with any concerns. Thank You!
Yes tent camping is allowed. They even have lots without power hookup. Last I knew they were about $10 a night, but you'll have to check the website
