Even if you aren’t a Buddhist a must visit and a sight to see. The architecture the different rooms and levels of all types of buddhas are breathtaking. This place just brings temple to another level especially for the US.

The temple is the definition of serenity. I went to the festival there on Sunday and I loved it. Everyone was so welcoming. It was so nice to see thai traditional music and dance. I bought these beautiful Thai earrings. I want to go back to the temple and learn how to meditate.

Go to there website http://watnawamin.org/nmr-buddhist-meditation-center there at information about programs and meditation. Surf to below for English. Usually women wear long sleeve and long pants or lungi in Teravada tradition. As long as you cover your body its fine. No skinies or shorts. There are some programs for children too. But if yu are going to meditation and your kid is like to run arround or making noise or behave bad it will be disturbing for others. So pls. Consider those facts before visiting. Its worth going there. All the best.
