Do NOT GO HERE !!! IF YOU CAN , GET TO BECKLEY OR COVINGTON First, let me start by saying CINDY FROM OUT PATIENT Surgery help desk was rude WE DO NOT ENJOY BEING SICK, DO NOT WANT TO VACATION at death valley! (Another patient, older waiting 3 hours previous hospital trip) Cindy in outpatient surgery was rude, just nasty.. absolutely uncalled for!!! Directions were, Go to outpatient surgery park under awning, call number provided, .....Show up @ 1030 call leave a message call leave another message. Walk on in, told to go around where I Started, sit for an hour half . See lady walk out the door, Yay finally 20 second COVID test can be done nope!!!!! CINDY comes out to demand I go back to the front! 2 hours for a SiMPLE COVID test And have to deal with rude worker!!! I would have cancelled the appointment there and looked for another provider for the test that I needed, however the other employees thereafter took care of my needs. or the actual test were apologetic and have excellent bedside manners.

Ob Kim woman was absolutely amazing! She gave me &’ my support team the best experience. She is so caring, wonderful, &’ made our visit // labor worth the time of laughter! She extremely awesome! One of my favorites! - Stacey, she was great also! Giving maverick an second opinion on his breathing &’ giving him the best care until Roanoke got there to transport him! I can’t thank these to ladies for everything they done, time that was given for the care!

I went to the hospital by ambulance I wasn't able to catch my breath. I sat in the hallway for about an hour they ran a bunch of tests. I was waiting for 7 hours to get the results. I was admitted and sent upstairs to my room, there wasn't a bed in the room so they took me to a different room and the air didn't work I had to wait 3 hours to get hooked up to oxygen and to get a gown. I didn't find out hw bad I was until I saw my family dr and she told me the truth and said I should have been in there for at least a week.

This is my third visit to Greenbriar, specifically to have a PET Scan. I prefer the small hospital setting to the larger Carilion setting in Roanoke, Va. From the moment arriving I was made to feel comfortable. A very friendly face was at reception. Her directions were both kind and complete. Arrival in the waiting room was brief and I was called to a registration area. This also was a pleasant experience. Info all taken and verified, the wait once again very short. I was met by a nice young man (tech) who escorted me to the portable scan equipment. Both young men there were kind and explained what was to happen. All in all, the experience was pleasant enough. I will continue to use this facility as scans come due.

Questions & Answers

I've been to some horrible hospitals in my days, but this one tops them all. Food sucks, management in my department sucks more than anything. I got screwed on my check this week. Do not come to this band-aid station.

Hi Beth, We do have a mobile open MRI unit on-site multiple times a month on Saturdays. If you would like to schedule contact your primary care doctor to make a referral and we will get you scheduled at the first available appointment. :)
