I started with them in 2014 when they were Waste Industries. I had no complaints and experienced very reliable service. Then things started going downhill in 2019. Eventually when I couldn’t stand the missed pick ups anymore and was frustrated with never being able to reach someone on the phone, while also increasing their prices, I canceled my service. I couldn’t even get a hold of anyone locally to cancel and I had to email their corporate office. It’s a shame that they didn’t even seem to care that they were losing a customer. That’s fine because I will take my money elsewhere.

Our driver was fantastic. Same guy for drop off and pick up. Polite, professional and very courteous. (Wish I would have asked for his name but he picked up the dumpster on 7/26 at 914am in Dover.) GFL has a great employee with this guy!

This company bought out the company that I was using previously. All has been good until the end of June 2022. That's when they stopped picking up our recycling. We didn't notice it until the can was overflowing. I called to bring this to their attention and I was told "your recycling was picked up today". No lady it wasn't. That's exactly why I'm calling because it hasn't been picked up in over a month. After a brief hold the lady told me that there is a new driver and he probably doesn't know where to pick the cans up. Funny because the neighbors across the way has the same service and theirs got picked up. Our cans are literally 10 feet from each other. This wouldn't have been a problem if they would have just acknowledged their mistake and apologized. Instead this lady kept trying to talk over me the entire conversation. You're not going to charge me for a service and then not provide the service for over a month and on top of that just disregard it like it's no big deal. This company's 1.5 star rating on Google is definitely deserved. Your customer service is terrible. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

missed my trash day …. called that day….. told me They would be there… two days later my trash was still not picked up… told me I had to wait another week to get a pick up…..staff in office very rude and unprofessional… hung up on my husband after he tried to get a resolution…. we pay our bill on time…. it seems there is no recourse for the consumer

I don't work for any trash company. I'm a technical specialist for a company. If you are having issues, I'd suggest going to their office.
Where do you live
Our trash is usually picked up on Fridays, and we always get pushed back a day with holidays. I'm sorry I don't have a direct answer, but you should receive a phone call from them if it's going to be a different day. I recommend placing your trash out regularly. Who knows anything about their schedule these days?
No, collection will resume on Tuesday. So the monday collection is on Tuesday.
With regular trash no. That would be a specific pickup due to their local pick-ups. Specific trucks pick up different things. Trash, recycling and yard waste wood leaves etc
