I just had a follow-up after my pregnancy loss at UNC Women’s Obgyn Clinic and I left there feeling optimistic, cared for, listened to and just overall like I mattered and my situation mattered. The nurse, Nurse Practitioner and the attending Doctor, all Women (which I loved), made me feel so good after such a heartbreaking loss. My husband was also blown away by their care and service. When we are ready to try again, we will be coming back here for my and our baby’s care. This has truly been the best hospital/doctor experience I have had since we moved to North Carolina a year ago. It’s a little drive from the town we live in but it so worth it to get exceptional care. Thank you UNC Women’s Clinic Chapel Hill!🙏🏾🌻❤️

They have the best nurses and doctors. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I had my labor and delivery at this hospital and I had a great experience. Everyone was so supportive and they have a great doula program where they help you in labor. I wish I remembered everyone’s name who helped in my delivery of my baby but I hope they get recognized by their hard work and friendly nature to pregnant women.

Went to have my second child here in 2019 in hopes of it being a better option than my local hospital but I was sadly mistaken. When I went to get my epidural for C-section they had to reinsert the needle 3-4 times due to me feeling electric like shocks in my legs and numbness from what I guess was them hitting a nerve and not inserting properly. I was sobbing while they kept trying and failing but eventually they got it. I had no troubles like this at my local hospital. After my C-section when they put me in the recovery room before the main room, they would not update my family in the waiting room about anything that was going on, my family did not even know that my C-section was successful. Then we got to the very small room where we’d be staying the rest of the time. I had a bad, consistent cough when I came it and everytime I coughed it would feel like my C-section area was ripping, despite this extra pain on top of major surgery pain, they insisted I only needed Ibuprofen. Hours later I had to ask for better pain medication and they gave me the minimum dose, if I wanted more after however many hours, I would have to ask everytime. It was awful. Thankfully though as far as the baby went he was very healthy and wonderful. I did find it strange the doctors and nurses came in my room at least 8-10 times over the course of my stay to ask if we wanted a circumcision. They were weirdly insistent about it and even though we came to an agreement about not getting one they still ended up talking us into having the baby checked for one and then asking us again and we said no. I thought that was a personal choice blunt it seemed very forced. However The food was very good and they let you order whenever you were hungry which I thought was nice. Overall would not recommend.

I could have never had a baby without UNC. Thank you for the last 22 years with my son! May God bless all of you.

I clicked on your name to see where you are located, and it came up Fayetteville. If that's correct I didn't know off hand of any places but the only place I could find is Women's Health Clinic. Unfortunately they are in Chapel Hill. 101 Manning Dr. Chapel Hill NC. But from my many dealings with ANYTHING UNC has to offer, they know what they are talking about. They aren't pill pushers and they always research anything with you sitting in the office. If you have an appointment you are there until all of the questions and concerns are answered and needs are met. Very sweet caring staff. You definitely will not find anything like that in that regard in or around Fayetteville I'm afraid. I grew up there I know. I hope I helped in at least some way. I hope you get some answers, and get back to some normalcy. Hot flashes are the pits for sure. I had them and they briefly come and go. I'm only 43 and mine started very shortly after a hysterectomy in 2004. Best of luck.
