The City of Greensboro Employees have to do Better at Customer Service!! I went in to pay my Water Bill for the Second time as a credit balance...in four days. The Cashier couldn't pull up my account....but was able to pull it up last Thursday September 15? Which is ridiculous. Also, the lady at the entrance of Water Resources with the Braids or locs was very RUDE! City of Greensboro Employees have to do Better. If you don't love your job, just QUIT and find another.

Worst. My water wasn’t cut on in the time frame they said. So I’m having to wait tge next day. All faucets were off so I shouldn’t of gave to be here. When that wasn’t instructed to be there.

According to the website, application fees for all residents is $15. Tenants (non-owners) must pay a $150 deposit which will be used to cover your final bill and what is left will be refunded to you by check. Bills normally cover water, sewer, house hold hazardous fees (goes to solid waste), and storm water management fees. But that all depends on the type of dwelling you are in and its status. Water and sewer are typically the largest part of the bill. Accounts outside of the city pay more for water and sewer and do not pat the other two fees. Service begins on the next business day after signing up. My bill is usually around $27 per month based on 3 units of water (300 cubic feet). $2.00 of which is the storm water and household hazardous fee.
