A visual example of historic living from the wealthy main house to simple homes of the average person. The grounds are beautiful!

It is the first time that I visit the park, to understand its history you need to visit it.

Tour the grounds free... don't know about the main house..
No cost to go look. There is also a trolley that goes around Raleigh as well.
It's off wake Forest road.the street is call mimosa St or Dr..
A majority of the park is wheelchsir accessible. However there are about 3 or 4 buildings with only stairs and the main house upstairs is not accessible. I don't believe there are wheelchairs available to use onsite.
Trolley tours do not operate in January or February. Leaves from Mordecai Historic Park on Saturdays, March through December, at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm. Enclosed and air-conditioned. Admission: $10 adults, $4 youth (7-17), $0 children (6 and under) Tours begin and end at Mordecai Historic Park and last approximately one hour. Hope that helps!!
Its called history that no one should forget nor deny.
