My Sister has been there for awhile. If not for a few on the staff that go above and beyond, I would have given only one star. They are constantly "short staffed" making patients wait long periods of time

I was admitted for physical therapy after a week in the hospital. The staff was unprofessional and rude o a daily basis. I was told by several of the CMA'S " That you are not the only patient here".I had to wait many times 1 1/2 hrs for someone to respond to my hitting the call button. Pruitt obviously has staffing issues but I felt it shouldn't be taken out on the patient. I complained about not of having a bowel movement 7 days .it took them 3 days to approve an emema for me. When the nurses would bring by my medicine, I would ask what meds they were given me . Most the time they would say they didn't know or forgot.tgey would put the mess on the tray and leave not checking if I took the meds or not. I do compliment the physical therapy depth. They were good at this jobs. They were pleasant and helpful . Those are just a few complaints. I have many more. I would NOT recommend this rehab to anyone.

This place did not make a good first impression. It was a holiday and I imagine they were overstaffed. So I'll give it a few days to see if things improve. The patient I visited was in pain and had needs that weren't met in a timely manner. People in the halls were screaming and one client actually fell out of her chair in the hall and yelled out in pain right outside the room I was visiting which was very upsetting to the person I was visiting. Assessments weren't made until around noon and the CNAs said their hands were tied until the assessments were done for something as basic as assisting the patient with going to the bathroom. The patient didn't receive breakfast (or supper the night before) because she came in as a new patient. Prayers requested that things get better quickly.
