Went here a while back when I was 12 and it was horrible. I had only talked with doctors before they sent me into the main room with no prior information given. A patient went to shake my hand the other patients had to shout at me that we are not allowed to make physical contact. The nurses were very rude and ignorant when asked simple questions, they’d be on their phones ignoring us in our faces. A past patient who was in my room had gotten the flu and was sent home early (other patients informed me when i started feeling sick). They failed to sanitize and I was miserably sick with the flu and quarantined in my room for most of my week stay. I was forced to stay in bed every second of the day and my legs ached horribly. Prior to the quarantine, during gym time, I was laying on the floor in pain from sickness and the nurse never checked on me. The best part is how when i was quarantined no doctors talked to me unless it was about the flu, meaning the point i was sent to a MENTAL hospital was entirely thrown out the window. I was sent home early still sick and expected to pay over $8,000 while i had not received ANY help. LOL!

Attentive and caring nurses, motivated recreational attendants, curious and conversational students, rotational doctors, nutritional devotion, hot showers, and other struggling humans to hunker down with.

This was first time seeking inpatient treatment. They offer no one on one treatment. I saw the doctor for maybe 10 minutes over a 3 day stay. She did change my medicine that has helped. Their group sessions are so-so. The first one in the morning is run by what ever nursing assistant that is working. And consisted of this woman with a,loud voice telling you what you can and can't,do. And passing out what passes for a work sheet. Where you fill it in with a marker. And then you can color in color books. The staff and the hospital have no understanding of,the ADA. They make no reasonable accommodation for physical issues. I am losing my hearing. And to be in rooms with a lot of noise makes me anxious and physically uncomfortable. Staff had no understanding and did,not make it where I could get as much as I could from the, experience. Still waiting for a call back. When I called, yesterday to express my concern. I think ( Kelly). She hung up on me. I am not really expecting much. Well 3 days and nothing but crickets from Aiken regional.

They are a part of Aiken Regional. Go to the ER. Tell them your issue. Request to speak with someone about the flex unit. I work for an ambulance service.
I believe you can go there and be evaluated for admission as an adult.
Absolutely do.
They can help you
Yes, you can. The assessment office is open from 8a-8p.
Yes
Yes
They take government pay like Medicare and Medicaid. I'm not sure if they have an indigent program but I'm sure they do.
I think aurora pavillion, part of aiken hospital, is just for psych, not dental.....
I dont believe there is any hospital in south Carolina that allows smoking on premises that includes parking lots
