I was trying to donate back items houseware items (that I purchased from Goodwill) along with clothing (some with tags and brand new electronic toys which were gifts and never used) and they refused to take ANY OF IT. As a thrift shopper for years, I can tell that some of our local stores seem to have almost forgotten their purpose and have started insisting on brand name everything so they could sell at almost retail (if not more). Do Better Goodwill.

After driving all over Tim buc too, we finally arrived at the distribution center. After a few minutes speaking with the two women in the building we determined they had "0" clothing especially winter coats. Between the two of them, I must say they were useless

For Donations only! No store here. But be prepared to have the most annoying Goodwill donation experience ever. The lady argued with me over many of my items and handed things back to me. And told me she had to throw something away because …Thank you for supporting our mission and we greatly appreciate your donations. We apologize the donation process was frustrating and for your experience. This is unacceptable and we aim to make any process as easy and pleasant as possible. We do take your feedback seriously and will address this with our leadership promptly so this will not be an issue in the future. We hope this experience does not deter you as your support helps your community immensely.

Yes
Just bag up the clothes, walk in and drop it off in the bin

They take everything except things that are totally outdated...like box tv etc
There are no bins, you bring donations inside to the attendant
Yes, as long as they are in good working condition.
Goodwill's volunteer program is on hold while we undertake an evaluation, but you would need to contact our HR Department. Call 718-728-5400.
No books, but shoes, clothes picture frames are ok
They should accept those items
Goodwill still has an attended donation center in Massapequa. The closest stores are in East Northport and Lake Ronkonkoma.
Yes, as long as they are in good condition and not marked up and are not encyclopedias or old textbooks.
Drop off. This location is closing end of July.
Sometimes. It depends on what they havr at the time.
You can definitely bring a bike here. When I went, I saw a brand new bike get sold for $15. I was so jealous.
