PBS-TV was fooled by Uncle Cheesecake. We drove an hour to try the delicious looking desserts on a Saturday at 3 pm with hours open 10 am to 10 pm. We were greeted by a very unwelcoming girl behind the counter who said there was no lemonade and no drip cakes which were items we were hoping to try. There were maybe 10 cupcakes left (we bought 3) and maybe 2 dozen cheesecake slices to choose from. We bought 2 slices to eat "in-store" but the unfriendly girl only had 1 fork in the store so I went to the Sammy's Tavern next door who graciously gave us another fork. Ridiculous and insulting service at Uncle Cheesecake. It definitely was not worth the 1 hour drive. The desserts were tasty but I can get some just as tasty where I live. The "icing on the cake" was the Bible verse Ecclesiastes 9:7 written on 2 walls. Surely Christians don't do business this way!

My wife and I saw the PBS promotion of this business. Excellent cheesecake. However, was misleading by the cheesecake slices shown on TV compared to the 1" slice we received for $7.00 a slice.

Expensive, close to $7 for a slice of cheesecake. But, it is good cheesecake. It's especially good if you are like me and think lemon has no place in cheesecake (speaking of New York style cheesecake).
