Was very educational and enjoyable The gentleman operating the facility was very informative. Which suggest for people to go there to learn panning and view the Mine shafts from the 1850s. A lot of history here

This was a wonderful family get together, my 86 year old grandmother even got to participate and enjoy. The caretaker is a genuinely enjoyable fellow with good humor YEARS of experience and is willing to be totally honest about the teaching and training. Totally worth the trip.

Yes, you pay for material that is seeded with gold flakes that you then practice finding. You get to keep all gold you find.
