Nice visitors center for Ft Sumter! We took the ferry over to Ft Sumter. Our only complaints were that it was overpriced for the ferry ticket and bathrooms were out of order at the visitors center when we went.

You can look through the museum for free, but the boat to Ft Sumpter costs money.
$23 per person. It does take a few hours and it is a small boat. There are bathrooms on the island as well as a gift shop.
