Someone posted that the shrimp and grits were not good, well they must not have taste buds. I'm a southerner who has eaten them across the south in many different forms and this was by far the BEST! Grits wonderfully thick and cheesy swimming in a creole style sauce that had peppers, onions, sausage and jumbo shrimp. OMG! The flavor! Also best fried green tomato topped it. Here on vacation and this place will bring me back for sure. Husband had the fried seafood plate and wonderfully fresh with not your ordinary Mac and cheese. They treat you with a hush puppy to start that is splashes with herb butter. Wow, that was a first and loved it. Service was also amazing. Won't go wrong coming here.

We stopped in for a late lunch and for the first time. We were glad we did and very pleased! Our food was excellent! The staff was very pleasant, friendly and attentive plus the music brought back a lot of fond memories. We can highly recommend Santee Seafood Bistro and look forward to our next visit!
