Low income housing for seniors my foot. My senior mother tried to apply for this place - nowhere in the application does it A) state how much you have to make to qualify or B) the cost of the apartments rent. We googled elsewhere to see what the rent was which my mother CAN afford for a one bedroom. But she ended up being denied her application because she has to make 2 times the rent??!?! And the price they gave was $1,052 for what I assume is the 2 bedroom because otherwise that price is WAY too much for a one bedroom that’s supposed to be “low income housing” and the application forces you to pick a second option and you can’t pick the same option twice (she just wanted a 1 bedroom). That is NOT a low income friendly requirement. Absolutely appalled by the process and decision. Screw this greedy place.
