Signs that tell-tale he history of the Fort were broken or missing, construction project next to the Fort is not helping with keeping the place clean. So much history, but poorly maintained.

Nice free place of history to visit. Now don’t expect much, still stop and play a few YouTube videos as you walk around. Hopefully they will be done with the building next door.

I have tried several times to ride a bike to the fort but the guard would not let me through. Any ideas on how to through the security gate..
