Del Oro provides support and guidance for those of us who find ourselves thrust into a caregiving role in life. Their expert counseling has been a godsend to us as we try to navigate the unpredictable course of our family member’s Parkinson’s Disease. Del Oro also helped us with ongoing support as we struggle with the changes wrought by this devastating progressive disease. Every person on their staff has been compassionate, kind and always helpful. Caring for a loved one in the throes of Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s can be extremely traumatic and bewildering to the family, and isolating to the person charged with caregiving. The staff at Del Oro provides caring, knowledgeable contact, legal resources and even respite care for your loved one. We will remain forever grateful for Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center.

Del Oro was our salvation. I couldn't have continued giving my husband the care and attention he needed without their respite services. At the memorial service I asked people to donate to this organization instead of any other as they really made a difference in our lives. Thank you Del Oro!

Be careful about what information you share with them. I went to them looking for help but ended feeling completely betrayed instead. The information I shared with them in confidence was used against me. I regret seeking their help and now I'm afraid to go to anyone else for help either.
