It's a nice place to adopt a dog or cat. I tried a big playful dog. But he was incompatible with my current dog. I wasn't strong enough to walk him on a leash, he drug me all over my yard. I hated to take him back but my current dog was snapping & growling at him.

We adopted a dog from them and they have a very good staff that works hard to take care of all the animals. They would be a good choice to help a dog in need.

Hi Charles! Polk County Animal Control offers rabies vaccine clinics regularly. The next clinic is scheduled for the fall. We do offer spay/neuter vouchers year round to Polk County Residents receiving government assistance and/or limited income and these vouchers include a 1 year rabies vaccine.

Hello, we are here to take in animals Monday through Saturday 11 - 5 from Polk County, NC and, when capacity permits, also from Landrum, Campobello and Gowensville, SC.
Was at Foothills Humane Society yesterday & saw no signage indicating that they would be closed for Mother's Day. And actually, there are several paid positions at FHS & all are very dedicated to the care & welfare of each animal. Please check the website for more information or even adopt an incredible pet!
What type of vouchers, but since it's in NC I don't think so
