If I could give the Hanover Community Aid a 0/5 Stars, I would. They constantly put racist imagery out on the shelves, and overprice for necessary items. I don’t see them lasting much longer.

I really enjoy coming here ! Always find great items and at low prices especially on half off days ! You cant beat it ! I'm thankful they are nor greedy like goodwill! They keep raising their prices! Anyway community aid is a great place to shop around, they actually help the community!

Used to be a good place to find things to add to my video game collection, but the past few years it's either overpriced old sports games or other games priced in line with eBay. Once in a while I catch them slipping a bit but its pretty rare. Some of the stuff sits for weeks to months because nobody wants to pay full price or, sometimes, more than market value at a "thrift shop"

This place is big, but it is predominantly clothing. I've been here a couple times and it's mostly the same situation. The store is clean and nicely organized. It is also well lit. The Electronic section is pathetic, only a few outdated items. The toy section is also small; just a couple small shelves. Location is good and exterior is nice.

Hello, all CommunityAid stores have the same discount days. Not all answers given by the public here are correct - please check communityaid.org/find-a-store/in-store-promotions/.
They do not accept anything that you put a baby into. No strollers, bouncy seats, play pens, swings, etc.
Every friday is 50% off for all vets, police, armed forces, medical field etc.
Tuesday is Senior day, Wednesday is family day with the same half price option to everyone
Drop off only but it is quick & easy.
No. Wednesdays are the sale day each week (50% off everything). Each week the assigned color is a dollar.
You're better off calling the actual store then posting in here.
Yes
Yes!!! Have fun
Call the administration office as directed above. Also there are several rescue missions and churches that help with clothing and household needs in the local area that you can google. God bless!
Call the store and ask!
Yes, we are open 9am-9pm Monday
I know Tuesday are 50% off for 65+ & weds are family days when its 50% off for everyone but that's all I'm sure of.
They have drop boxes around the area. Some are located at the ends of shopping plaza parking lots. You can drop your items in the box to be picked up.
You put your donations in the community aid bins that are all over the community anytime. For a list of locations I'm not sure maybe call.
Feb 7-10
They get all kinds of different items, it all depends on other's donation. I havent seen any, but I also havent been looking
Wensdays
Ok, everyday there is a color tag 50% off, and senior day everything is 50% off for people 60 years old and older
They don't typically carry large furniture peices, and I've never seen a mattress there. But it couldn't hurt to call them and ask.
They do not advertise sales. Only on board as you walk in.
Darling, it's a second hand store. What they have depends on what people donate. I'd look for sports equipment over the summerKids that played a sport for a year and don't want to continue, kids outgrowing their lacrosse cleats and needing new ones for the next school year, kids that switched schools or districts, etc
Every day they have a color but Wednesday is 50% off all item excluding one color usually RED
Today is senior day over 55. All on sale but red and yellow tags
Monday thru Saturday 9am to 7pm. Sunday 12 noon to 6pm
Good Will in York or Westminster may take it instead. I know the Westminster location has a large furniture section separate from the clothes.
They don't usually take furniture.
No each day can b for something but also everyday has 50 percent off colored tags and has senior days
