The repair man told me that there could be a computer problem, That is expensive to repair. Instead a bad cold water valve seems to be the culpit. But I choose to purchase a new washer.

We paid for warranty. New dishwasher broke within 9 months. Took 3 months for replacement. Second dishwasher tack mounting broke within 2 months. Took 2 months to get technician out, took one month for parts, took another 3 months ( cancellations by repair company) to install parts. The warranty on fixed is worthless. However, I get emails on repairs without warranty for same day service. So if you have to pay you get a repairman the same day, if you have a warranty for repair good luck.
