Im always finding glass and garbage coming out of the ground. There is no grass anywhere and my furbaby loves to roll in the grass, Half the area is of sticks and it looks like a snake haven and the other half would get black muddy after a rain.... However I have read that the drainage was fixed but I haven't been back after a rain. It also concerns me that the water fountain is metal and located in the sun on a concrete platform so I can't imagine on really hot days that the water is cool enough. I realize it's a free park and it is very large but I can only be hopeful that they have plans for more improvements.

Really excellent choice to bring your dogs to. Everyone was very friendly and so were they're dogs. Although my only problem was there were no bathrooms to use if I had to go 😬😅

Love this place, one of my go-toos. Rains cause issues with wet ground, wish they had some benches on both sides, but all in all a great dog park.

I would say that’s the best dog park in downtown Columbia. There are two water fountains for the dogs, poop bags, and free toys (tennis balls, tugging toys). Dogs are well behaved. And it’s free.
