Husband and I just recently moved into our house that we bought from Oakwood. While the mortgage lender was a nightmare, Kristy at Oakwood helped me get everything taken care of. When I say Kristy was there every step of the way I mean it. If I called her on her days off or after work hours, she had no issues helping me figure out what was going on and how to handle the issues the lender was throwing at me. When we first went in and ordered our house, we were expecting a house around May of 2022. But luckily someone who ordered a house ended up walking away from the same model we were going to get, Kristy called me and gave me the option to get the one that was delivered. Of course I jumped on it because it was going to save us thousands and thousands of dollars since this house was ordered before the price of the house went up. Because of the lender and our land seller *eye roll* moving in took a bit longer than I would have liked, but with Kristy's help and being able to talk me off the cliff we made it! We moved in 12/17/21 and I absolutely LOVE this house. Are there a few things wrong with it? Yes, but they are small minor details that you HAVE to look for. Between Kristy and their handyman, Jamie, a few issues I had immediately after moving in was taken care of in less than a week! I would recommend Oakwood to anyone looking for a home, go ask for Kristy and she will do everything she can to make sure she gets you in your dream home!
