Excellent display of military memorabilia. Museum was well organized and easy to navigate. I took about an hour to meander through the various dioramas and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour is self-guided. I recommend a stop in this place on your travels thru Columbia.

Not enough Black Representation on display. Predominately about White military history. Typical way white folks see history excluding Black Folks. Need to remove the word military from your title and rename it “SC White Museum”. The dirty South will never change.

Larry is the best tour guide! He’s a dedicated, knowledgeable volunteer and Vietnam Veteran. He and another fine gentleman gave up their Saturday to run the museum today so that we could experience the whole (free!) place with the rich stories told, as well as the well-kept, pristine displays, vehicles, helicopters, videos, and thousands of items well-documented and preserved! Thank you! Kudos!

A family member donated a “letter” my father wrote to his sister while he was a WWII German POW. It was written in pencil on cardboard. Will I be able to see it up close and perhaps take a photo of it for my sons and grandchildren? Thx
