Guy at the desk said he wasn’t trained to answer my questions. Said I needed to call the IRS phone number. They continue to hang up on me.

The experience was horrible. A policeman met me at the door and only allowed me to walk 2 feet into the huge room. One employee, more than 10 feet away, behind a glass asked if I had an appointment. There was no notice anywhere stating I needed an appointment. The police escorted me to the door and told me to call for an appointment. This was the most hostile, harsh, cold business I have ever been in. I was feeling like I had committed a crime and they might put me in handcuffs at any moment! All I needed to do was turn some papers in for school. What a nasty approach to civilans. God help our country if this is accurate representation of government:(

Yes. Go to the address and a security guard will direct you. They'll ask you if you have a question or what you need help with. Then, you'll be able to speak to an IRS employee.
Going through same thing. Did u ever get any answers for how to resolve this issue?
Online at the irs website or a call to them possibly
U have to make an appointment
Go online and make the payment
For appointments (844-545-5640) to order a non filing transcript by mail (5-10 days wait) or make an appointment at the local office (1 month wait). Option 3, have them faxed (same day) on a secure line. They can fax to the local IRS office after identity verification. You must be present when they send them. Calling (800-829-1040) for mail or fax, follow these prompts [press1english then 2 personal tax questions, next press 1 tax history or payment, 3 all other tax history questions, 2 all other tax history payment. A pause then the automated system asks for ssn (DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING) wait until it asks 2x. You will get another menu, press 2 for personal or individual tax questions. You should now be placed in the queue to wait for a representative and given a estimated wait time. (15-45 min or more).
Ask your employer.
