Just dont. I stay in a brand new Clayton home that was set up in Palmetto Palms..the house is cracking in all rooms just to be a year old. The skirting is shaky, I had to fix it myself after 2weeks in the home.

We love the location in Cayce SC we have been there before and ended up having the same salesperson that we had before so it worked out really good. They are not pushy there and they are really really nice and answer all of your questions and needs. We are hopefully getting our new house from them soon.

We were lied to so that we would apply and now it’s affected our credit score. 1. We toured homes, told them which one we were interested in. When they worked us up for a loan, they worked us up for a more expensive home. 122k is a massive difference than 184k when you’re looking at a loan. 2. We were told we would qualify for a $0-low down payment because of our credit scores. Which is the whole reason we applied. When we got our loan approvals back, we were told we would have to put down 8k because the loan was above 180k. We were then told they could lower the loan to 180k which is impossible due to land pricing, 122k BASIC double wide, 30k for land and then 20k for set up and another 25k for “land improvements?” Which the last one came out of nowhere and were not discussed during our first discussion, the 20k set up was all we were told about. 3. We were told the loan companies would all fall under one inquiry and I’m not sure why I believed them. 1 inquiry went to 3 and now that is on our credit reports. These people are shady and the houses aren’t even worth the money they want. Go down the road to Southern Choice Homes for a better deal AND you can use who you want to for well, septic, and land clearing.

Same here , Betty they will not communicate regularly with buyers . What is it? We are going else where also. Time is ticking people!
