If you want top notch plants and are willing to pay the price this is the place to go. I would not recommend having them do the installation. We recently had about two dozen shrubs and plants installed. I told the workers that I was going to remove the remaining sod in the bed after their installation. When they left it looked good. When I started removing the sod I noticed that the topsoil mounded up around the root balls was there just to hide the sod. The top of the root ball was even with the top of the grass. I removed the sod and went and purchased a bunch of topsoil to build up the soil around the plants. The installation cost $400. 2 guys, 2 hours. $100 per hour for each guy. I recommend Two Brothers Landscaping for installations.

The facility was maintained well and the staff were knowledgeable and considerate! They were patient with us while we decided on plants and also provided timely and reasonable delivery on our large trees. Thank you for a great experience

$7 mints in small pots, long over-rooted and infested with ants. Now I have ants everywhere! I'd like a refund, but I'm not going back there ever again. Worst experience in many years of gardening.

How soon after planting using a pot with miracle grow potting soil should you use miracle grow fertilizer (liquid). Assuming that the soil has a certain amount of fertilizer in it. Thanks for your advice.

Barbara Hackney | Sep 20, 2019
Fairview Garden Center | Sep 20, 2019

We recommend water soluble fertilizer applications every 2-3 weeks after planting annual flowers. Fertilizer recommendations can also be plant-dependent (some like more fertilizer than others). Feel free to give us a call at 919-851-6821 to discuss specific plant needs.

When will outdoor pots of flowers be available?

Joanne Witte | Sep 20, 2019
Fairview Garden Center | Sep 20, 2019

Hi Joanne, We carry outdoor flowers year round. There are plenty of options for winter blooming perennials, trees and shrubs. We also have a great selection of houseplants and blooming plants for indoor use in the winter. Our spring and summer annuals will be ready to sale in late March and the recommended "frost free" date in our area is around April 15. That's when it's usually safe to plant tender annual flowers outdoors.
