I had high hopes for this place because it’s really cute but the dairy free cupcake I had was the worst— by far— dairy free cupcake I’ve ever had. It was so bad. My three year old didn’t like it so I tried the cupcake and I actually spit it out because it was so bad. I don’t know who makes the recipes but that vegan dairy free vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting has got to go. It’s inedible. We threw it away. It tasted almost like fish. That had no vanilla flavor at all. I don’t know if mine was expired or something. The service and coffee was otherwise good and friendly but that cupcake was just foul.

This place is one of my new favorite spots on the Island! The food is SO good. I especially reccomend the carrot/cheesecake. The family that runs it is amazing. They are each so nice and helpful. Those of us who are GF often go without. This place gives us an entire menu that is safe for us. I took each of my kids on a date here while we were in town, and it was time and money well spent. Even the kids who can have gluten liked what they got. One of the young men pointed out that they have pasta for sale to make at home that their family imports from Italy. Next time, I am going to give that a try!

I go every year as its one of the only safe places on the island. Its just weird that the online menu is mostly gluten based now. Maybe a mistake?

They have hand sanitizer when you walk in and they are wearing masks and gloves when they serviced us

Good morning Carole! Yes, we typically have several dairy free options available, including our vegan chocolate cupcakes, vegan chocolate chip cookies, banana or banana nut bread and some of our brownies (depending upon toppings). It’s important to note that the chocolate chips used in our brownies are manufactured in a facility that also processes products with whey. Since we don’t control that part of the process, we cannot guarantee that there isn’t any cross contamination of whey. We hope that helps and that we’ll be seeing you soon! Nicole
