I have been going to the Dale Turner YMCA for almost a year. I go there primarily to weight train. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and you can always find covered parking. Peak hours 5-7pm can get crowded and the older kids that just hangout after school can get annoying, but when you factor in the subsidies they offer for low-income people, it is an amazing value. Go in early in the morning or during the afternoon and you pretty much got the whole place to yourself. Lots of equipment, more than expected, though not an exhaustive collection if you are a serious lifter.

Signed up for swim classes for my kid and fortunately only signed up for a youth membership. I wanted to love coming here but for the (Covid related) moment I don't. There's too many people in the building most of whom are unmasked or wearing their mask for show. The swim lessons are ok (the classes for the same size are so much better at Mountlake Terrace though spots are extremely limited) but I'm not signing up my kid for the next cycle of classes. I feel that my child will learn and progress in swimming somewhere else. Parking is plenty on level 2 where access to main floor is via elevator or walking out back to the front of the building. Membership maybe worth it for families just not for us.

I love my Y family. It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review, but the run around I’m receiving to cancel and reclaim my paid dues during the pandemic is a bit unreal. I understand the lengthy wait times, but it’s the non-transparent process, where one misstep has members back at the beginning of a new process to complete cancellation/refund requests. It’s too much.

No, the YMCA is closed until March 31st.
Located on a 192nd and Aurora Ave North near Echo Lake Apartments
There is no indoor track. The Northshore YMCA in Bothell has a track.
Swimming is free with a YMCA membership
Age doesn't matter. But, if you have kids with disabilities then the staff are so unprofessional. They treat those kids harshly
Yes. There are yoga classes for all levels of intensity and difficulty.
I agree with Tim, but do note that they have different hours depending on the day!
You could. The front desk people would ask you some questions to check in for you just like any gym would do.
You could always check their website for information, or call the front desk for more information. Hope this helps!
