I dropped off my car at 8am for two front tires and was told my car would definitely be ready by 4pm. When I arrived at 4:15 pm the car was not ready. After apologies I was assured the car was going in as we spoke and would be ready in one half an hour. I waited and sent my ride home. At 4:45pm I looked for the car and discovered it was still outside with no new tires. I was then told that they never said it was going in, just that it would take one half hour. That was a lie. I took my keys back and will never grace their establishment with my presence or money (Not that they care.) Avoid.

I cannot say enough good things about Modern Tire at 475 River Road in Shelton, CT. Lisa Noonan, Modern's Team Leader is always professional, friendly and possesses an almost encyclopedic knowledge of all things automotive. Her team is extremely professional and hard working. They are laser focused so that their customers are minimally inconvenienced. The team here NEVER performs work until they speak with their customers and make sure they understand what NEEDS to be done versus what CAN be done, which is always a time and money saver. I never think twice about bringing my car here - because I know my Jeep and I are in excellent hands!

I have been coming to this facility for at least 5 years. The service has always been great. My husband and son now bring their cars to this establishment for service. I want to personally commend "Lisa" for exceptional service. I appreciate the personal attention, the extra tidbits that are shared about our cars and regardless of what is going on in the shop we are met with a warm smile and excellent customer service. I had an issue with my tires. Long story short my dealership ended up righting a wrong and giving me free tires. That being said, this business was the only one in the area willing to help me with my unique situation. Lisa went above and beyond by ordering my tires asap and not even asking for a deposit. When we called to cancel our order we weren't charged any restock fee or anything. Such great customer service is hard to come by these days. Will be coming back to this business for future needs!
