Not just a private ranch, but rather a ranch that has blocked off and forbidden access to thousands of acres of public land, prosecuting "corner crossings" and forbidding the public use of tax payers land by that loophole. (Look up corner crossing if you are unfamiliar with it). If you want to support an outfitter, find an operation that promotes sportsmen, public land, and access. Find an outfitter that doesn't claim public land as their own while maintaining an entitled/exclusive attitude towards taxpayers land.

Atv/jeep hunts. Stand hunt for bow season. I stay at friends house that is close.most hunters stay at the ranch house. Should be able to accomodate you. Generally good numbers of elk. Have had no issues on 4 hunts. 2 elk 4 years. My mobility holds me up. Friends are 4/4.
