We were staying in the Emigrant area and this place was recommended. I can't tell you how much we have enjoyed the food and great value and quick service. I would highly recommend it. Their house salad is extremely tasty and the country fried steak (Which country gravy) and patty melt were to die for!

Be surprised. The sign states Established in 1902, but the food is tasty. The bartender, Connor, also our server, gave us the best service we have had in a long time. We got the Reuban and BLTTA. Great sandwiches. About half way between Yellowstone and Livingston. I will stop again the next time through.

Visiting from MN and the Old Saloon was on our list. Obviously a cool old building, love the original bar back. I worked in an early 1900s bar for years and those sticky drawers and cooler doors just make me smile. We stopped in 3 or 4 times throughout our visit and every time was great. This is definitely a locals spot, we recognized a few patrons from previous visits. But don't let that deter you, you'll still be welcome. The food and service are excellent. Definitely elevated bar grub- poutine fries, deep fried pickles, the giant porkie sandwich. And where do you find a bar that doesn't serve a house salad with wilted romaine and bagged shredded cheese? Old Saloon. It was all delicious. The drink selection is great, especially for a hometown bar. Our bartender, Leigh, was phenomenal and friendly and makes a killer old fashioned. We can't wait to return this summer!
