I wouldn't even bother going here... My husband and I drove over an hour to see some of these homes. Due to traffic, we got there about 20 minutes until closing time. (Yes, I realize that's late but we didn't have a choice) I asked if we could get the key to view the homes really quick and we'd make an appointment with someone in their office if we were interested in one of the homes. The guy was already packed up and ready to leave when we walked in. He didn't want to be bothered, so he said "no". Literally, he refused to even give us the time of day because he wanted to leave early. We ended up going to Morganton Clayton Homes, where they treated us like actual human beings. I'd drive an extra 30 minutes to deal with nice people rather than go to the Hickory Clayton Homes any day.

We were looking at this but decided against it. This is really a "to each his own" decision.
Which finance company did you use? If you don't mind me asking. Also, did you have to pay anything after that?
I was told 1000 to start the process for a home there Bob is the sales person I talked to and the will go towards the home but after credit checks and stuff I'm not to sure the next step
